Note – if you are planning on doing this, you should take care that it doesn’t affect the bars of the scannable part of the barcode. This could make the barcode unscannable. Talk to us if you would like clarification on this. Barcodes work by reading the spaces between the bars, so there are limitations to how they can be changed.
